In the square of the village of Vale de Lobo it is possible to see an old community olive press, the chapel of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, and following the trail you will pass 50m from the Igreja Matriz de Vale de Lobo where you can take a detour to visit it, and then continue to the bottom of the village where you will enter a dirt road towards the mountain.
In this place you can see the large olive groves and properties that continue to be cultivated today and where you can find cattle and goats grazing.
In the past, this path was walked by people from this village who traveled to the town of Mirandela on the occasion of the Nossa Senhora do Amparo festivals, and some people walked the path barefoot as at the time most of them only had one pair of shoes (clogs or flip-flops) and when they arrived at the town of Mirandela (São Sebastião) they cleaned their feet with the cloth, put on their shoes and went to the party.
The people of the village made this journey weekly with donkeys loaded with firewood that they sold to the owners of the village's bakeries.
