This place is home to one of the oldest distilleries in the Lisbon region, made up of copper vessels for the distillation of pomace and two continuous columns for the distillation of wines.
This space also includes one of the largest and oldest mills in the Iberian Peninsula with spindle and rod presses (the oldest dates from 1871).
The farm also has warehouses for aging spirits and liqueurs, areas for aging wines in barrels and bottles.
At Quinta do Sanguinhal the program includes guided tours of the 17th century gardens. XIX, Quinta do Sanguinhal vineyards, an old distillery completely restored with 300m2, an old wine press with rod presses dating from 1871, an aging cellar with 36 barrels, commented wine tasting of 6 wines (white, rosé, red and a liqueur), accompanied by toast, regional blend cheese and mini pastel de nata.
