The Ilhéu de Baixo (Ilhéu dos Homiziados) is a geological formation with a cone of tuffs that has been largely dismantled by the action of marine erosion off Carapacho in front of Ponta da Restinga, in the extreme southeast of Graciosa Island, in the Azores.
Access to this islet can only be done by boat so that human action is not very frequent, it occupies an area of 9 ha and its altitude goes up to 74 meters.
Praia islet is a basalt islet made up of the dismantled remains of a coastal cone, with an area of approximately 10 ha.
The islet is located in front of Vila da Praia on the island of Graciosa, Azores, about 1.5 km from the coast, relatively low with a maximum altitude of 52 m above mean sea level, being almost entirely covered by relatively deep soil and shrubby and endemic vegetation, such as Azorina vidalii (vidália).
The area is made up of a rich and diverse colony of seabirds: common tern, rosy tern, common tern, shearwater, storm-petrel and black-backed tern.
