It is located on Estrada da Boutaca, Vila de Batalha, District of Leiria, in the province of Beira Litoral, Central Portugal
 
The Boutaca Bridge or Boitaca Bridge, in the municipality of Batalha, is a bridge built in the second half of the 19th century, in 1862 in a revivalist style and with a neo-Gothic style, the Ribeira da Calvaria, a tributary of the River Lena, runs underneath it.

The construction of the viaduct called Ponte da Boutaca, a name associated with a property owned by Mestre Boitaca in this location, began in the second half of the 19th century. XIX, in 1862 during the reign of D. Luís, as a witness, the engraving on a marker placed in the ditch of the road that, from north to south, gives access to the bridge.

The neo-Gothic bridge has a straight deck measuring 60m by 7m, based on six broken arches interspersed by buttresses with several abutments.

The bulwark is made of stonework with quatrefoil fences topped with spaces by pinnacles, at the top of the buttresses.

The two romantic pavilions, suggesting old tolls, flank the bridge deck at the entrance and exit, are rectangular in plan, measuring 5.70m by 3.80m, resting on a high embankment base and are topped with limestone flower grabs in stonework, pinnacles at the vertices topping the wedges

A hipped roof covers the pavilions that feature pointed-arch windows and doors that open onto the deck.

The bridge has a flat platform in six arches above the Leona River that was built in 1862 during the reign of D. Luis.

The Boutaca Bridge was built in 1862 over Ribeira de Calvaria, close to the Batalha Monastery, forming part of the old Estrada Real that connected Lisbon to Porto.

Presenting a neo-Gothic model, the bridge consists of a straight deck, resting on six broken arches interspersed by buttresses. The bridge's railing is decorated with land grabs and pinnacles, placed on top of the buttresses.

At the ends of the building, four rectangular pavilions were built, which rest on embankment bases and are topped with stonework ornaments, fleurs-de-lis and pinnacles.

In 1988, the bridge underwent restoration work, the roofs of the four pavilions were repaired and some of the stonework ornaments that had been damaged were replaced.
