Praia da Azurara is on the coast next to Foz do Rio Ave, parish of Azurara, municipality of Vila de Conde, Northern Portugal
Azurara beach located south of Vila do Conde and Foz do Rio Ave begins next to the jetty that protects it from the strongest winds.
The beach has an extensive beach with fine white sand that stretches for kilometers and surrounded by a string of preserved dunes crossed by wooden walkways that aim to protect the surrounding environment.
The beach may be a crossing point for a migratory route for dolphins that occasionally come closer to the coast to feed.
Azurara beach has a very long sandy stretch of around 1 km that forms part of the mouth of Rio Ave 1 on the south bank and is delimited to the north by a pier belonging to the river bank.
Its sea has strong waves and is therefore sought after by surfers, bodyboarders, windsurfers and sport fishers.
The beach is very popular with guests at Parque de Campismo de Árvore 2 and surf school apprentices and a famous annual summer party called Azurara Beach Party takes place here.

Facho de Árvore is the later mark of the first line of the Vila do Conde bar at the mouth of the Rio Ave, completed by the Farol de Azurara located in the pine forest 800 meters to the west and the Farolim de Azurara located next to the beach 1050 meters to the west.
A construction in granite stonework has the shape of a pyramid with the west facing side covered in white tiles, intended to be visible from afar as it reflects sunlight and daylight and in the triangular finish the headlight lamp is deactivated.
The line also consists of the Azurara Lighthouse, about 250 m inland in a pine forest next to the campsite and now deactivated at Facho de Árvore next to from the national road (EN 13) in the parish of Árvore
