Located on Rua Dr. Barbosa de Magalhães, city of Aveiro, central Portugal
The Aveiro Art Nouveau Museum, based in one of the most emblematic properties among the heritage of this artistic movement, is the interpretative center of the extensive network of Art Nouveau motifs spread throughout the city of Aveiro.
This museum center treats Art Nouveau as a didactic argument intended to lead the visitor to reflect on the assumptions of the aesthetic revolution that this movement provided, and better understand its consequences that are still manifested today.
A visit to this center is not complete without a visit to the Tea House located on the ground floor, during the day with a calmer and more relaxing atmosphere allowing you to take advantage of the beauty of the building itself, it transforms at night into one of the liveliest bars in the city with live music during the weekends.
